Tech company announces layoffs

Houston technology company InteLogix is laying off 102 people in Lakeland.

In a letter to state officials, the company says that the job cuts are due to the “elimination of work by (a) client” but did not give any other details.

The company did not respond to a request for comment asking who the client was, if employees whose jobs were being lost would get any type of help with placement or severance and if any of its other employees are affected.
